There are also many restaurants and clubs in the vicinity for after hours entertainment. Generally a very hip area and only 5 minutes by car to the main shopping area of Jalan Bukit Bintang. Being a Shangri La property, it lives up to it worldwide reputation of being an oasis in the bustling city. You will find that not only the hotel is of excellent quality but service is top notch. The lobby is located on the 2nd floor where the driveway leads up to. There is another entrance below that leading to the meeting and conference rooms. The lobby is very large with a clear view of the gardens behind the full height glass windows. There are cmple seating areas at the lobby area. Please note that the lobby is undergoing extensive renovations at the moment (till Mar 02) a temporary lobby is situated at the lower driveway.

Room, in keeping with the Shangri La chain, have large rooms of about 38 sq metres tastefully furnished in contemporary style with beige colors and high quality finishing. Bathrooms are bright with marble tiles and spacious proportions.
